BACKUP: It's Important!

This cannot be stressed enough: Proper use of any database software application involves making a backup copy of the data to guard against loss. BadgeManager Plus makes it easy: there's nothing special you need to do, because BadgeManager Plus stored 100% of your data in the TROOP.MDB file that's used by TroopManager Plus.

To put it another way, if you have backed up your TroopManager Plus data then you're all set for BadgeManager Plus.

Maintenance

Because BadgeManager Plus does not have its own database file there is not routine maintenance to perform. The only things you should do on a regular basis are:

1. Visit www.ScoutTroop.com and keep up to date on what's available for updates, bug reports and other interesting things. Once a month should be plenty, we don't make a lot of dramatic changes very often.
    
2. Look for updates to the master badge database file, also found at www.ScoutTroop.com.
