Technical support is free for all Forevergreen Software Company products. Just send an e-mail describing your question or problem to FSC@TDS.NET. Per the agreement for the service unit discounts, your unit is responsible for the first stage of technical support for TroopManager and BadgeManager. Anything you cannot handle should be forwarded to us. The majority of problems with these products are minor and easily handled by an experienced user.

At this time there are only a couple of known bugs but since this is a totally new product we expect you will run into a few more. Please report them to FSC@TDS.NET and we will get right on them. If you are using an earlier version (which of course includes all beta versions) you should download the update, which you will find on the lower part of the download page.
Known Bugs, version 1.1.4

Bugs from previous versions:
- Financial Transaction Details
Report uses incorrect starting balance. Fixed in version 1.1.4.
- Registration Status Report
includes the wrong set of people when configured for Not Registered.
Fixed in version 1.1.4.
- Troop Roster Report
displays error messages under certain circumstances and does not
accurately reflect troop composition. Fixed in
version 1.1.2.
- Registration Year during
data entry always shows the current calendar year, not the program year.
Fixed in 1.1.2.
- When using the "Go To" buttons for
people, troops or organizations, the correct record is displayed by the
form is locked into that position and you cannot move between records.
Close the form and re-open from the switchboard. Fixed in 1.0.15.
- Group names should be unique but
you are allowed to enter duplicate names, which can make things very
confusing. Databases created with version 1.0.15 and later do not
allow duplicate names. Fixed in 1.0.15.
Missing Features
The following will eventually be part of SUManager Plus but are not yet available. We will be adding all of these eventually and all customers get free updates.
- Export. You will be able to select a subset of people and troop data, along with financial categories and reporting scenarios, to export to a database for use with TroopManager. This will make it easy to provision a database for a new leader.
- Import. Some of the Import process is already implemented, which means you will be able to import data from various troop leaders, move people and troops around, then send the data back out again. Support for other data sources will be added over time.
- Search. The search feature will help find key words and phrases in the data for people, troops, organizations and so on.
- Relate Employee/Employer, Relate Spouse. Found on the main Person Details form, these buttons will make it quick and easy to create relationships between people and organizations.
Installer Error Message
After installing SUManager Plus you might see an error message that mentions a Just-In-Time Debugger. Very few people will see it and you can ignore this message.
