If you have a lot of troops to enter, or just want to see and edit all of the troops at once, you can use the Troop Quick Data Entry Sheet.  This is accessed from the grid button on the main switchboard.

To enter a new troop, simply start typing anywhere in the last row, where there is an asterisk ( * ). The only requirement is that you enter a unique troop number.
