In order to make the role and to-do list management (see Troop Details) as efficient as possible, lists for current roles, role history and to-do items only show people associated with the troop rather than all people in the entire SUManager database. For example, suppose that the complete list of people numbers 114. Below, the form shows that of the 141 people, only 8 adults have been associated with the troop.
The list on the left shows all people in the SUManager database. The list can be filtered by type of person (adult, scout, other) and is also influenced by the switchboard for active vs inactive people. The list on the right shows the people presently associated with the troop, also filtered by person type and active status.
The buttons add and remove names from the list. You can also double-click a name on the right to quickly add it to the troop.
When you click on an associated person's name you can optionally enter notes about this person. The notes should be about this person's relationship to the troop, and not notes about the person in general. General notes about a person belong in the person's detail record.
The Go to Person button jumps immediately to whichever name is selected at the moment.
